Accessibility statement
What we have done to make Bettitips usable for everyone, what we know is still imperfect, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which is the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and by most national accessibility law.
This is a statement of intent backed by work already done, not a certification. We have not commissioned an independent audit, and we say so rather than imply an approval we do not have.
What we have built in
Accessibility here comes mostly from the way the site is built rather than from a layer added on top:
- Every page is server-rendered HTML and readable without JavaScript β calculators explain their full method and worked example in text below the widget
- A skip link jumps straight to the main content, and headings follow a real document outline
- Form fields carry proper labels, and interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard
- Light and dark themes are both explicitly designed, and the theme follows your system setting unless you override it
- Text scales with your browser's font size, and the layout reflows down to small screens without a horizontal scroll
- Content is written in your language rather than machine-dumped β the interface and all 66 calculators are translated into English, Ukrainian, Polish and German
Known limitations
We would rather list these than let you discover them:
- Some calculator result tables are wide and scroll horizontally inside their own container on narrow screens
- A few charts convey information visually; the same numbers are always available as text nearby, but the charts themselves are not fully described
- Colour is used to signal positive and negative outcomes; it is always paired with a sign or a word, but the pairing has not been verified on every single result field
- We have tested with keyboard navigation and browser zoom, but not yet with every screen reader and assistive technology combination
Third-party content
Links to bookmakers and prediction markets take you to sites we do not control and cannot make accessible. Their own accessibility statements apply once you leave here.
We do not embed third-party widgets, advertising frames, video players or consent pop-ups, all of which are common sources of accessibility problems. That is deliberate.
Tell us when something does not work
Email [email protected] with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. Concrete reports are worth far more to us than general ones.
We treat an accessibility barrier as a bug, not a feature request. If something on this site locks you out, we want to know, and we will tell you what we are doing about it.
Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can raise it with the national accessibility enforcement body in your country. Under the European Accessibility Act each member state designates one, and it can take complaints about services offered to consumers.
We would much rather fix the problem than have you go there. Try [email protected] first β a reply from a person usually beats a formal process.
How this statement is kept honest
We review this page when we ship a significant interface change, and we update the known limitations as they are fixed or as new ones surface.
The date at the top reflects the last such review. If this page ever claims something the site does not actually do, that is a bug in the page β tell us and we will correct it.
