Editorial policy
How we decide what to publish, how we check it, how we handle mistakes, and how we keep commercial relationships out of editorial judgement.

Independence
Editorial decisions on this site are made independently of commercial ones. No advertiser, affiliate partner or operator has the right to approve, review, alter, delay or veto our content before publication.
Nobody can buy a rating, a ranking position, a favourable review or the removal of a criticism. Where a commercial relationship exists, we disclose it β see our Affiliate disclosure β rather than letting it shape the text.
What we publish, and on what basis
Our content falls into three categories, and we try to make the distinction obvious to the reader.
Explanatory and educational material describes how betting mathematics works β expected value, bookmaker margin, stake sizing, variance. This is grounded in standard, well-established mathematics and is not specific to any operator.
Tools are deterministic calculators that operate on the numbers a reader supplies. Their formulas are documented on our Methodology page.
Commercial and comparative content describes operators and their offers. It is based on publicly available information and our own assessment, and it is subject to the accuracy limits described below.
Verification and sources
We prefer primary sources: an operator's own published terms, a regulator's register, an official statistical source, or peer-reviewed and textbook mathematics for anything analytical.
Figures that change frequently β odds, margins, bonus terms, payout times β are point-in-time observations, not continuously monitored measurements. We say so plainly wherever we quote them, and we ask readers to verify at the source before acting.
Use of automation and AI
We use software to help produce and maintain parts of this site, and some content may be drafted or assembled with the assistance of automated systems, including language models.
Automated output is a starting point, not a source of truth. It is not a substitute for human editorial judgement, and it is not a form of insight into the outcome of any real event. Where a section of the site contains automatically generated material, we aim to mark it as such and to keep it clearly separated from human-reviewed analysis.
Accuracy, corrections and updates
We try hard to be accurate, and we will still sometimes be wrong. When we learn that something we published is incorrect, we correct it. Substantive corrections to a factual claim are made to the page itself rather than quietly removed.
If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, misleading or out of date, write to [email protected] and point to the specific page and figure. We take corrections seriously and treat them as a priority over new content.
What our content is not
Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, a personal recommendation, or an assurance of any outcome. We do not know your circumstances. Every decision you take remains yours, and the limits of our responsibility are set out in our Terms of use.
We do not publish content designed to encourage people to bet more than they intend to, to chase losses, or to present betting as a solution to financial difficulty.
