Bookmaker anchor detector
Find the sharp anchor among multiple bookmakers and detect outliers
Compare odds across bookmakers, identify the sharp anchor, and find outliers that signal value or mispricing.
What is the anchor price?
In any betting market, one bookmaker (usually Pinnacle, sometimes Stake, BetCRIS, or Asian exchanges) acts as the 'anchor' — they have lowest margin and their lines reflect true probability best. This calculator detects which book is sharpest in YOUR list, then measures how far each other book deviates. Big positive deviation = potential value bet at that book. Big negative deviation = bookmaker thinks they have edge (avoid). Pair with No-vig and Sure bet scanner.
Sharp bettors use this concept manually all the time — but no calculator surfaces it. Now you have one.

Example: identifying value
Same market across 6 books: Pinnacle 2.10, Stake 2.08, William Hill 2.05, Bet365 2.15, Unibet 2.20, BetWinner 2.25. Anchor (lowest margin) = Pinnacle at 2.10. BetWinner at 2.25 = +7.1% positive deviation (potential value). William Hill at 2.05 = −2.4% (avoid, less than fair). Take BetWinner, monitor whether the line moves toward Pinnacle.
When to use
- When you have 4+ bookmaker accounts
- Finding which book is softest on a given market type
- Verifying that a deviation is genuine vs noise
