What are British multi-bet systems?
British bookmakers offer pre-defined multi-bet packages that automatically generate combinations from your selections. A Trixie covers 3 selections in 4 bets (3 doubles + 1 treble). A Yankee covers 4 in 11 bets (6 doubles + 4 trebles + 1 fourfold). Lucky 15 adds singles to a Yankee (15 bets total). How to use
- 1Pick a system (Trixie, Yankee, Lucky 15, etc).
- 2Enter the decimal odds for each selection.
- 3Enter unit stake (system stake is unit × number of bets).
- 4See total stake, max payout if all selections win, and the breakeven (how many selections needed to recover stake).
Example: Yankee with 4 selections
Four picks at 2.00 each. Yankee = 11 bets. €5 unit × 11 = €55 stake. If all 4 win: doubles pay 6 × €20 = €120, trebles pay 4 × €40 = €160, fourfold pays €80. Total €360. Win 3 of 4: collect 3 doubles + 1 treble ≈ €100 (small loss). Win 2 of 4: 1 double = €20 (€35 loss). Win 1: zero return.
